I am the Chief Operating Officer of Excel Education Systems, a Minneapolis-based national provider of digital education products and services and a leader in virtual learning. With over 2 decades of leadership experience and over 13 years in educational leadership, I believe leading involves embracing innovation, inspiring others, and leading by example.
Academic
I have a B.A. in Religion and French from Augustana College (now University), a Master of Theological Studies with a focus on Jewish Studies and Holocaust Literature from Harvard Divinity School, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University. My academic interests range from theological discussions to education technology and virtual learning.
Personal
I am a proud father and husband. Family is the most important thing to me and I have always been blessed to be able to put them first. In my spare time, I enjoy home projects, hiking, video games, spending quality time with friends, and exploring new places. Minnesota is home but I won't turn down any chance to go back and visit Boston!
